We Love Percy!! - a review of 1, 2, 3 PerciesFeb 10, 2006 You would think that 3 Percy's at one time would be Percy overload, but I'm here to tell you that isn't the case. My son loves these Percy's.
Now, previous to receiving this set, my son (3) spent part of his day trying to reproduce the 'Percy effect' -be it chocolate, coal dust, or ice. Playdough never did a good enough job. Neither did clayish dirt from the yard, my make-up, or food. All of them just left Percy looking, well, worn out.
Now though, he can get on with his play, either imitating one of the stories he has me read so often, or devising his own.
Four Stars. Percy is just plain fun. He has as many adventures as Thomas, many of which are endearingly silly. In this set you get, coal dust Percy, Jack Frost Percy, and my favorite, Chocolate Percy. (Choc-ice on wheels!)

Takes some of the wear & tear off of regular PercyDec 28, 2005 Frequent viewers of the Thomas the Tank Engine TV show know that Percy often gets into a bit of a mess due to his eager-to-please nature. This can cause problems for the "plain" Percy wooden engine and a toddler. My son has covered him in various times with peanut butter, jelly and chocolate, resulting in a few trips to the kitchen sink for cleaning. Here, the Percy engines come already "messy," keeping his original Percy relatively clean.

An absolute MUST for the Thomas lover!Apr 22, 2005 Oh golly, is this set cute! We just received ours and it is just amazing. The three versions of Percy - coal dust Percy and Chocolate Percy are from "Percy's Chocolate Crunch" and Jack Frost Percy is from "Thomas' Snowy Surprise." My little guy just carries these around all day, makes believe all day with them, takes them to bed, you name it. It's just a very cute set. If you're wondering about Jack Frost Percy regarding the icicles, they are made of a soft rubber and are quite bendable so they won't be breaking off and creating a sharp point. I would still pay attention to that age 3 thing though. Grab these trains - you certainly won't be sorry. Very Highly recommend!
